Another pose with our catch! |
After we landed all the fish, its now time to pack our bag and leave Jeram Ketir. It was an amazing 4 day journey with our Fishyology Explorer and certainly we shall return to Royal Belum. To be honest, it was hard for me to leave this fishing haven with majestic flora and fauna diversity. In the other end, I miss my family and friends and life must go on as usual. We bid farewell to the other campers and wish them all the best.

Finally we have cross the ridge |
After 2 hours of walking, I was quite surprise with my increase in stamina. Probably after few days in the jungle, I lost weight and once our body constantly on the move, it has increase our stamina. Even motivation to return home was probably another key factor. We rest for a while along the Sungai Kejar before our last push to our boat.

Nuar and Mr. Rahim |
We reached our jetty at 3.00pm. We rest for a while for lunch and bath to refresh our selves. Once all bags are stored in the car, we bid our farewell to Mr. Rahim who has been a great guide with unique personality. We will miss all his stories of royal belum and hopefully we will meet again in the future. Last but not least our great appreciation to Along and Exegates Adventures who make this trip possible for us. Well recommended to those who would like to embark on the same journey that we have experienced. That’s a wrap for 4 part Royal Belum Expedition. Thank you to all readers and stay tuned for more updates in October as we will head out to Jarak Island and Rompin for some sail fish action.
